THE ORGANISATION
Solis MMC Children?s Services was established in **Apply on the

families who are assessed as being in need. We do so through the
provision of a continuum of services that integrates emergency
residential respite, medium and long- term children?s residential
homes and community-based services.
ERS - MULLINGAR
The Emergency Respite Service (ERS) acts as a bridging placement for

years who have been assessed as being in crisis and require an interim
residential care placement. Each placement is provided for a maximum
period of **Apply on the website** days and is underpinned by an
activity-based programme approach. The centre provides a fun,
energetic, and ever-changing environment for both the young people and
the staff team. The service is provided on a national basis with
centres in Mullingar and Killeagh County Cork.
SOCIAL CARE LEADER
The role of the Social Care Leader (SCL) is to work directly with the
Centre Management Team to assist in ensuring the day?to?day
management of the residential centre. The SCL will retain an integral
practice role and ensure that the highest quality of care is provided
to young people.
The role will encompass administrative duties as well as
responsibilities pertaining to the progression and practice of the
staff team and the implementation of Placement Plan objectives for
young people; ensuring that they are receiving the agreed quality and
quantity services. The SCL will be accountable for the centre
functioning in the absence of the PIC or the Deputy Manager (DM). The
SCL will be accountable to the Deputy Manager (DM) or/and the PIC.
Where both are absent the SCL will be accountable to the Regional
Manager.
